Steve Konstalid, DVM

Dr. Konstalid was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. In 1998, after his clinical year at Kansas State University, he earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University. He spent most of his professional career in the emergency and critical care setting, first in Orange County Animal Emergency Service and then Elmhurst Animal Emergency Hospital. As an ER clinician, he always had access to an ultrasound machine and used it daily on his own cases as well as those of colleagues and referring hospitals. The dimension this modality added was invaluable in the management of difficult medical cases.

After 15 years of working overnights, he shifted gears and worked exclusively as a mobile sonographer in a busy mobile practice in New Jersey. Here he honed his skills under an experienced mentor in a peer-review setting.

Dr. Konstalid is now available for mobile ultrasound services in Staten Island, Brooklyn & Queens.
